Miriam Rodriguez is an Associate Minister who works with the Children’s Ministry and the Worship Team to assist in the spiritual growth of our young children and to help usher in the presence of God through our praise and worship.
Miriam believes that training up a child in the way of the Lord is a way to prepare them in navigating through life with a positive view that Christ is the center in all situations. Praise and worship is the heart of her relationship with the Lord. She believes that through praise and worship we open the gate for the Holy Spirit to enter in and work in our lives.
Miriam has worked and supported both children’s and music ministries since she was a young girl. Growing up in a home of ministers and having a Pastor for a father, ministry was a natural step for her life. Her most recent ministry experiences have been as Minister of Worship at By His Spirit Fellowship from June 22, 2008 until August 27, 2017. Miriam felt led to come join in helping her brother Moises Flores, pastor of II Adam Ministries, in September of 2017 and has been working with him to fulfill the vision God has set for this ministry.
The most influential person in Miriam’s life is her brother Moises. He has inspired her to never give up on life especially in the darkest moments of your life. He is a constant reminder that God is our comforter, our healer, our provider and our compass in life. He pushes her to live a life of integrity and faith. She is grateful for her brother and the man of God that he is.
Miriam’s favorite scripture verse is John 4:23. Her favorite sports teams are USC Trojans, Rams, Lakers and the Angels. Her hobbies include camping, reading, attending concerts and sporting events.
Miriam has been involved in worship and children’s ministry for over 30 years. She was ordained in the ministry of music and trained in evangelism, worship and children’s ministry. She earned a certificate in evangelism and church planning from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Miriam resides in Chino Hills with her husband and 3 children.
